New Delhi: The Academy of Family Physicians India (AFPI) in association with healthcare platform Eka Care will develop digital healthcare technology and provide health services to their members online.

Eka Care will be providing services such as patient engagement, health reco rds, EMR, telemedicine, and payment solutions for AFPI members. The agreement will ease the process of appointments, Google listings, and SEO for the members of the platforms.

Doctors will also be able to connect their patients who need special attention due to complexities to super-specialists through this platform under the agreement.

Elaborating on the digital healthcare transformation this partnership will bring, Dr Raman Kumar, President AFPI said, “The tie -up is to drive the next wave of much-needed tech transformation. We firmly believe that by going digital not only would we be moving closer to our patients but also be much more effective around clinical delivery”

Eka Care will build tech solutions with AFPI to solve any problem that their members might be facing with the interface, said the company in a statement.
